Frequently Asked Questions

How many times can the electrodes be used?

The number of uses depends entirely on the proper application, storage and care by the user. The durability of the electrodes depends on the adhesiveness of the gel and its adhesiveness depends on keeping the gel clean, hydrated, and free from foreign debris.

Application: Before each electrode application, skin must be cleaned with water and soap to remove any lotions, skin oils, make-up, and dead skin. Any debris on the skin will be transferred to the gel of the electrode thereby compromising the integrity of the gel's adhesiveness. A clean surface is the most important factor in the number of applications for an electrode.

Storage: After every use the electrode must be returned to the "ON" side of the Mylar liner and placed in the original, re-sealable package to prevent loss of moisture. Electrodes should be stored at a temperature between 41.0°-80.6°F.

DO NOT: store in freezer/refrigerator, leave in extreme heat, submerge in water, or leave outside of the package.

Care: After usage, if the electrode picks up small amounts of debris you may use a drop of water on your finger to gently rub the debris off the electrode. Most important to the care of the electrode is applying it to a clean surface with each use.

DO NOT: use soap, alcohol, submerge in water, or scrub with abrasive material.

Are your electrodes disposable?

Yes. When electrodes show wear and tear, or are no longer comfortable for the patient, simply replace them with a new set.

What is the percentage of people suffering pain?

Sooner or later, we all have to deal with body pain at some point in our lives.

A recent global survey reported that 95% of us have experienced pain at some time.

With that pain there can be a noticeable drop in your joy or diminishes.

Daily life is dulled, and it is harder to do even simple things. Relationships suffer, and almost 50% of people said that pain made them feel older and less attractive. The traditional approach to health care was to prescribe medications (drugs) of various kinds; however, these bring their own complications. What if you had a way to ease chronic aches and pains without side effects often caused by taking medications?  What if there was something that could give relief after just a few treatments? With TENS Massager, you have an alternative to drugs.

The electrode pads are not sticking, what should I do?

Make sure that the protective plastic covering the massage pads have been removed before you apply the pads to skin at the treatment area. The electrode pads are water activated. Before each use, use finger tips to get some tap water and moisture the water onto each pad on adhesive side, then shake the pads for 3-5 times, the pads will become half dry and half wet, it will be sticky again, apply the pads to the skin at the targeted area. Make sure that the pads are firmly attached to the skin for better conductivity and adhesiveness.
Remove the old pads and replace with new pads about once a month to ensure maximum effectiveness. Also, remember to place the pads back pads holder or plastic bag right after each use to keep clean and moisture for next use.

I can barely feel anything from the electrode pads, what is wrong?

Check the wire connection to the pads and make sure the plug is securely plugged. Make sure the batteries are in excellent condition. Check the pads are moist and not worn out. Turn the switch off then turn on again. Please make sure both pads attach to same person’s body at the same treatment targeted area in order to feel the same sensation. Generally, increasing the intensity level gradually till you feel sensation strong enough, but comfortable.
